The three key parts of a Management Liability policy are Directors’ and Officers’ Liability, Employment Practices Liability and Corporate Liability.
Directors’ and Officers’ Liability provides cover to the company’s Directors and Key Officers for Defence Costs and Awards to protect their own ‘Personal Wealth’ following a claim made against them by individual shareholders, Defence against regulatory claims and personal involvement with the administration of any company pension.
Employment Practices Liability will cover the company and its employees against defence costs and awards of claims arising from employment claims for example wrongful dismissal or sexual harassment.
Corporate Legal Liability covers the company against defence costs and awards from alleged incidents for example breach of regulations in health and safety, data protection and trading standards.
